There is a very well known saying that says that old lovers and old wines become more alluring as they grow older! You have spent eons with your man. You have watched millions of sunrises and sunsets together. You have held each other through the sad and the happy moments of life. As time has passed by, your love for him has grown and there is an intimacy that cannot be defined in words! What kind of gifts would you give such a man who is your soul mate? Obviously you need to give him something as special as he is. Here are some gift ideas for your man:
Does you man like the outdoors or the indoors? If he is an outdoor person then there are a great many things that you can gift him. If he is interested in fishing but has never found time to do it, then gift him some lessons on orienting or fly-fishing. You can even enroll with him on a rock-climbing course and learn a new thing.
Try doing some research—or maybe you already know about his unfulfilled desires? Did he like art in school? Did he like things like pottery making or jewelry making when he was young and could not do it for some reason or another? If yes, then help him to fulfill his hidden desires and gift him a pottery or a jewelry-making class.
Vintage items: No matter what anyone may say, men love collectibles. They love to collect anything, which has a history from models of cars, planes and even sports equipment. Try to get a jersey from his high school and gift it to him. He is sure to get all teary-eyed.
Tickets: Does your man like watching games from the ringside and live? If yes, then you can get him a ticket to a game of his choice!
Gym membership: If your man has become a couch potato due to his sedentary lifestyle, then it’s time you get going! Gift him a gym or a health club membership where he can meet his friends and work out as well. This will also help him to remain fit and strong and get rid of all pains and aches associated with old age.
Learning is life: Learning new arts is what keeps people young. Find out about your man’s deepest desires and enroll him in places that would fulfill them. For example, you can try some tai chi chuan classes or cookery courses which aid in improving your man’s health.
There are many gifts you can give older men. It also depends on your relationship and rapport with a person, if it’s your husband or some one else.
