Gifts for the Man Who Has Everything

When buying a gift for someone who has everything, it is important to know that price at this point does not matter. This means that if a man has everything, then he must have the money to afford just about everything, so when thinking of a gift, pricey is not the solution. Instead be thoughtful. As cliché as it sounds, give something from the heart. Have the gift be meaningful.
Think back to the first time you guys met and get a gift from that location. Get a gift that alludes to a possible inside joke you two have together. No matter who you are, if this person is worth spending all this time thinking of a gift for, you must be close enough to have inside jokes, or things only you two would get. Put some thought into it as well. For example, if you two met at a coffee shop, don’t just get a gift card to that store. Try something like taking a picture at the seat you were sitting when you two first met and framing that picture for him.
A gift does not have to be something physical. You could dedicate the entire day to that person and go to all of his favorite places. You could also go the route of making something for him, or personalize something for him. For example, you could personalize a sweatshirt with his name on the side. If you want to go bigger, you could buy him a vacation trip. He may have everything, but a trip is not something you can duplicate. Again, this does not have to be pricey. You could do something like a three-day cruise, which typically goes for around $300.
If none of these ideas appeal to you, just get him something he already has and add a personal touch. Again, it is the thought that counts at this point. It is more the effort that you have put into it that matters. For example, get him a ring; of course not the exact same ring he has. With the ring you should put a personal touch such as engraving it with your initials.
Truthfully, anything that reminds him of you is what you should be aiming for—the more personal the better. This is why you should not go with someone to get this person a gift. You should make the gift something that is more intimate. An outsider might not completely understand certain gift ideas. So when getting this gift don’t be discouraged. Always remember that it is the thought that counts. As long as you’re thinking of him while getting the gift, you cannot go wrong.
