Choosing gifts for men can be difficult no matter the occasion, but Valentine’s Day is especially tricky. The gift should be romantic and express the feelings of the giver yet also be something the recipient can really appreciate or find useful. It may be a good idea to give him several smaller gifts or a mixture of sentimental and practical items. Rest assured that there is a great gift solution for any man!

The previous ideas are also well suited for men who love music, sports, or who enjoy new experiences. Buy him tickets to his favorite concert or sporting event and the two of you can go together. Or if he has always wanted to go bungee jumping, rock-wall climbing, or white-water rafting, make arrangements for the two of you to go. You could also invite some mutual friends along on the date so that he can have a great time with his favorite people.

For the technological type a top-notch MP3 player, digital photo frame, or digital camera can be an elegant choice that may also be personalized. Before wrapping up his gift, first upload some of the music the two of you have enjoyed together or some photographs of the two of you.

If your man likes to read an option is to find him a limited copy or early edition of his favorite author and add a personal note to the inside cover.

If your guy is industrious and prefers doing his own home repairs and projects he may appreciate some nice new power tools or an organizer for the materials he already has. If he is especially creative you may get him a how-to book for something he has always wanted to try making on his own.

On the other hand, if he just wants to relax after a hard day at work you can surprise him with a new lounge chair, or more affordably, a back massager than he can add to his existing chair. To be really romantic you may even want to get some massage materials and give him one yourself on Valentine’s Day!

All of these gifts can be further supplemented by making him a CD of the songs you have enjoyed together, a photo album, or something you have written to tell him how important he is to you. Handmade gifts always add a special romantic touch that will demonstrate the time, energy, and emotions you put into the relationship. And with that said, Valentine’s Day should ring in another year of fun and romantic memories.
