Gifts for Men Under $10

It’s tough to find the right gift, and it’s even tougher if you’re on a tight budget. Never fear, though. If you get just the right thing, you can make any man in your life happy, even with only the help of a crisp $10 bill. The first thing to do is identify what the man you’re getting the gift for likes. If the gift is personalized in that way, he won’t care how much it cost because it shows that you’re being thoughtful. That’s the key to making this work out well for you: it must relate to something he loves.
Perhaps one of the easiest things to do is to get him a CD of one of his favorite bands or a DVD of a movie he likes. What you will find is that many online retailers like Amazon sell these items used (and sometimes even new!) at a deep discount. Even once you factor in shipping, you’re still under that $10 threshold in most cases. Give it a try. You might be surprised to find out just how little music and movies are going for these days.
Another option is to get him something that’s related to an activity he likes. If he enjoys spending time in the garage, you could get him a nice flashlight to help illuminate things as he pokes around under the hood. If he likes to hit the links, then you could get him a sleeve of golf balls and write something on them so he thinks of you when he plays. If he just enjoys being outside, then a hat with his favorite team’s logo could work, and you know he would get plenty of use out of that. If it’s a true passion of his, he’ll just be delighted that you thought to encourage him in that pursuit.
Finally, the way to a man’s heart is usually through his stomach. If you get him some of his favorite snacks or goodies, there’s no way he’ll be disappointed. You can get multiple packs of most things and still come under $10, so go for it. If you want to do even more than that, make him some food yourself. If the man is a chocoholic, then just go to your local supermarket and pick up a box of brownie mix for a couple of dollars. It can be just that simple. Gifts under $10 don’t have to end up being a boring thing or a useless knickknack. Just use a little of your free brainpower to think of what he likes best, and then go from there. You may just find that your $10 gift ends up being one he remembers for a long time.
