The Price Of Their Toys

Most men couldn’t care less about what you get them for Valentines Day. It’s the fact that you thought of them that matters to them most. Most of them do not celebrate all of the little holidays like Valentine’s Day that women do. So you don’t have to spend tons of money on your man to let him know you thought of him.

Make your own cards to save money. Get out your scissors, glue, and construction paper and try your hand at making your own cards. All you have to do is cut out a few hearts, stick them to a piece of paper that has been folded in half and write your message inside! It couldn’t get any easier that that! Most of the time you have to spend two or three dollars on a card that most people just toss away. You can make one for the cost of a few sheets of paper if you do it yourself. You can spend the money you saved from the card on getting a nice gift.

A good gift that is inexpensive to get your man is boxers. Men need underwear and will basically wear anything. Most men will wear their underwear until there are holes in them. So, trust me on this one, they will wear the boxers you buy them. You can always find cute boxers will really funny sayings or his favorite characters on them. They’re a great gift for him, and cheap on your wallet.

If you’re not into buying gifts go ahead and take him out to dinner at his favorite restaurant. He probably always springs for dinner when you go. He will love to be wined and dined for a change. A way to most men’s heart is through their stomach. A good meal is always appreciated. As a matter of fact you don’t even have to buy him dinner! You could stay at home and make him dinner yourself. If you burn even toast you may want to leave dinner to the professionals. However, if you can cook, making him food is probably the best option. Men love good cooks. Actually, most men would rather have a good home-cooked meal then dinner at a fancy restaurant. He will really appreciate the time and effort you put into the dinner and it will cost about half as much as it would to take him out.

You can always go for the box of chocolate approach. It may sound cliché but it’s actually a good gift for your man. It’s cheap and nearly everyone loves chocolate. You could buy him a box of chocolates and wrap it in the boxer shorts you got him. Secure it with a bow and you have a cute but inexpensive gift. You don’t need to spend a ton of money on your gift for your man. Just use your imagination and come up with something small and inexpensive, yet thoughtful. He will appreciate your gift and the time you took out of your day to think about him!
