Unconventional Graduation Gifts for Men
There are a variety of unique gifts you can give a son, nephew, friend, or a special someone who is graduating. Put on your thinking cap and try to dig into his interests, pursuits and involvements and you can easily find something that is sure to make him jump with joy.
- A gift certificate to a business, conference, or a trip the male graduate would never dream of buying with his own money but would truly enjoy shows much creativity and thoughtfulness.
- Tickets to a once-in-a-blue-moon summer concert series would be great for the music fan.
- Pedometers and other objects he can use for his daily exercise would be wonderful things to give the “shape-conscious” graduate.
- A college preparation pack, a set of fountain or technical pens, college gears and apparel like shirts, jackets, and sweatpants from the bookstore are a necessity for the soon-to-be college freshman.
- For the highly energized adventurer, a plane ticket to a dream city, a chance for a horseback riding activity, or even air gliding or flying lessons are just a few super unforgettable gift ideas.
- There are certainly gifts that should be avoided. Gift cards or certificates are not bad ideas but don’t give him ones for stores that he will not enjoy shopping at, like those that target female shoppers.
- Giving him clothes may not also be a good idea if you don’t know his taste. You can take him clothes shopping instead so he can pick the styles and outfits he would like for himself.
Graduation gifts can sometimes be very difficult to come up with, especially if you have a male graduate, but the important thing to consider is what type of gift a person of his age would appreciate and enjoy.
