A new laptop or one of the netbooks, whichever fits his needs better, is an ideal gift, too. Remember, netbooks have limited functioning abilities so check to make sure it will do everything the graduate needs it to.

A new wallet is a great gift. He will need to have something to carry around the money he is making on his summer job.

A GPS would be good since he might travel a bit more now that he is out of high school. This way he will always know where he is going.

A new cell phone with a new Bluetooth headset might also be nice. Both of these technologies are constantly changing and getting better.
