These days, picking out a graduation gift is harder than ever. Teens graduating from high school want to receive something "cool" for their graduation. Sometimes figuring out what is really "cool" to them is a difficult problem you have to tackle. Mp3 players are totally cool these days. If the teen you’re buying for doesn’t have one, there’s no doubt that he probably wants one of his own. These are all excellent players that come in a variety of prices. Buy the graduate this gift and he’ll love it.

Stereo System

Another cool gift idea is a great stereo system. Since graduates are likely going off to college soon, buying them a great stereo to show off in their college room is a great idea. They are sure to love a great stereo that puts out great sound. Sony is a great name to choose, Alpine is an excellent option, and RCA isn’t a bad choice, either.

Digital Camera

Digital cameras are pretty popular these days and definitely make a cool graduation gift. When you are choosing a good digital camera, there are a variety of brands to choose from, including HP, Kodak, Canon, Nikon, and Samsung. Take a look at the megapixels that the camera has. Try to get as high as possible for a good deal, and look for a good zoom lens on the camera as well.

Single Serving Coffee Maker

For the graduate who really enjoys coffee, a single serving coffee maker is a great gift to give. In college she probably won’t have a huge amount of room and she definitely won’t want to make a huge pot of coffee just for herself. The great new single serving coffee makers make a wonderful gift idea. They look great and come with several drink options, making them a cool gift the graduate will love.

Laptop

Since they will be working hard in college, a really cool and practical gift to give is a nice laptop. Of course, this is only a choice if you are planning on spending a pretty hefty chunk of money. HP, Dell, and Apple are some of the top names in computers these days. If you are making this type of a purchase, you may want to check to see if there is anything particular the graduate is going to need on their computer for college.
